Roy Adin’s depictions of the human form, portrayed with natural elements, address a collective longing for connection with nature through times of intense technological change. Expanding on his 12 years of experience in animation, self-taught Adin utilizes Generative AI as raw material in his process. Each work is intricately composed of multiple generative images and digital paintings. Layered seamlessly, they form intimate scenes that offer a respite from the pace of contemporary life.
Born in Jerusalem, Israel, in 2001, Adin has been exploring the convergence of art and technology since his early years. Among the first in Israel to receive YouTube's Silver Creator Award, his animated short films have reached over 40 million viewers globally and have garnered Adin more than 200,000 followers across social media platforms. Influenced profoundly by his father, a media professional, and his mother, a spiritual mentor, Adin continuously seeks a balance between the inner self and external expressions.
Recognized as one of Israel’s Most Influential Creators by 'Calcalist' and honored with the title of Most Promising Young Creator at the Shorty Awards 2016 event in Israel, Adin has participated in prestigious discussions on creativity, including one at the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation alongside former President Shimon Peres. Now residing and creating in Tel Aviv, Adin's art invites viewers to connect with their own human nature and reflect on their place within the environment.
